Salem County is a destination for wine lovers on the Southern New Jersey Wine Trail.  There are 19 vineyards in the South Jersey Area with more than 2.3 million acres under cultivation.  This area has been producing award winning wines for decades and is an official American Viticulture Area.

The Garden State wine industry is growing at a phenominal rate and it is expected that the number of vineyards will double in the next few years.
