Alex Alampi Jr., a watercolor artist residing in Pilesgrove, New Jersey, features the people of our South Jersey region. “Working Portraits,” as he refers to them; images reminiscent of a simpler time. Although Alex enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects from the Delaware Bay area and the rural countryside where he grew up, his inspiration comes from those who still make a living from the land or water in the traditional manner of their forefathers.
